Images of God on 100 Huntley Street

On March 26, 2026, Images of God: Through the Lens of Disability was featured on 100 Huntley Street — one of Canada's longest-running Christian television programs, airing on YES TV. Host Cheryl Weber was joined by Dr. Keith Dow, alongside Ryan from Orillia (one of the eleven project participants) and Janet Noel-Annable, President and CEO of Karis Disability Services.

The conversation explored how people with intellectual disabilities experience God and express their faith through art — and what the church and broader community can learn by genuinely listening.

Ryan shared his experience of participating in the project, including the photovoice work and the collage he created that has since been displayed at Martin Luther University College in Waterloo. His voice, perspective, and theology were front and centre.

Janet Noel-Annable reflected on Karis's mission of walking alongside people with intellectual and developmental disabilities as full partners in faith and community life, and what that looks like in practice for churches across Canada.
